Woodie. A few fun tips on puppy training were included.
This familiar poodle tries to attend every club meeting to watch over the audience. His (or her) name is Hungry!
The following is Greater Milwaukee Poodle Club Specialty and All Breed Obedience and Rally Trials held at Western
Waukesha County Dog Training Club on June 20, 2009.
On June 16, 2009 Greater Milwaukee Poodle Club member DeDe Diehl gave
the 3rd demonstration of a 3 part series on grooming right after the general meeting. Her handsome blue male Standard poodle,
Griffon, was allowed to grow out his puppy clip for the purpose of setting in a "rough" continental pattern. His
face, feet and tail were shaved before he arrived. The side closest to the audience was groomed first. More photos were taken
than shown here because the groomers hands and scissors moved so fast they were a blur. It is hard to believe this transformation
took place in one hour. For showing preparations he would be bathed, brushed and clipped again. At the end of the demonstration,
the audience came forward and put their hands on this handsome hunk of poodle.
